Essential oils have been used for thousands of years for their therapeutic and healing properties as part of the practice of aromatherapy. They are sourced from leaves, stems or roots of plants that are known for their health properties. Frankincense oil is renowned as one of the most prized and precious essential oils due to its extraordinary health benefits. Frankincense oil is from the genus Boswellia, a tree native to India that produces special compounds that have been found to have strong anti-inflammatory, and potentially anti-cancer, effects.
When used internally, Frankincense is thought to support a healthy cellular function by balancing the immune, nervous and digestive systems. This master oil has also been used to brighten the skin & reduce stretch marks. When inhaled or diffused, Frankincense promotes feelings of peace, relaxation, satisfaction, and overall wellness.
