Sculptra
Sculptra is a ‘bio stimulating’ injectable treatment designed to restore lost volume and enhance your skin’s elasticity.
How does
SCULPTRA work?
Sculptra is an alternative to dermal fillers that works as a natural stimulator to rejuvenate the skin. Sculptra has been in the aesthetic industry for around 20 years. It is made from poly-L-lactic acid, a biocompatible and biodegradable substance that stimulates collagen production in the skin.
As Sculptra is gradually absorbed by the body, it helps to restore the skin’s structural support and restores volume loss. The process results in a smoother, more youthful appearance over time. Clinical studies have shown up to 66% increase in Type 1 Collagen after 3 months post completion of the Sculptra protocol.

The Nuriss Difference
At Nuriss, we are committed to delivering personalised and result-driven treatments. Our practitioners are highly trained in advanced injection techniques, ensuring optimal placement and precise results for every patient. We take the time to understand your unique aesthetic goals, providing a thorough consultation and customised treatment plan. With our focus on patient care and safety, you can trust that you are in the best hands for your Sculptra treatment.
Frequency:
Sculptra requires a series of sessions for optimal results. Most patients undergo 3 treatment sessions spaced approximately 4-6 weeks apart. During your consultation, we will determine the frequency that best suits your individual needs and treatment goals.
Aftercare and Downtime:
After your Sculptra treatment, you can expect minimal downtime.Â
Post-treatment care may include:
- Avoiding strenuous exercise for 48 hours
- Avoid extreme temperatures (hot tubs, saunas) for 48 hours
- Using sunscreen to protect the treated areas
- Gently massaging the injection sites as advised
You may experience swelling, redness, or tenderness at the injection sites, which typically resolves within a few days.
Duration:
Each Sculptra session usually takes about 30-60 minutes, depending on the treatment areas involved. Allow additional time for consultation and post-treatment care discussion.
Discomfort Level:
Most patients find the discomfort associated with Sculptra injections to be minimal. A topical anesthetic can be applied to the treatment area prior to the procedure to enhance comfort further. Additionally we add lidocaine to alleviate potential discomfort during the injection process.
