Gut Health
We screen for:
- Coeliac disease
- Food intolerance
- Irritable bowel syndrome
- Leaky gut syndrome
- Inflammatory bowel disease
Our management plan may consist of gastrointestinal imaging, stool tests, blood screening and nutritional support. We often use GI-mapping as part of our analysis. This is a stool test that provides useful information about our gut microbiome. So much more than a simple stool evaluation, the GI-MAP is a DNA polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test, which allows us to diagnose disease with very small sample amounts. PCR is often referred to as molecular photocopying because it can produce millions of copies of a section of DNA in a few hours.
The GI-MAP is helpful in detecting and identifying pathogens, worms, inflammation, malabsorption and potential autoimmune triggers. It can detect gastrointestinal pathogens that cause such conditions as colitis and gastroenteritis as well as other diseases that may on the surface appear entirely unrelated to gut health but, in fact, are. Chronic GI symptoms, autoimmune conditions, cognitive challenges, skin conditions, joint pain, hormonal imbalances, food sensitivities and many other health issues can often be traced to pathogens in the gut or an imbalance in gut microbes. A better understanding of the gut microbiome holds promise in the prevention and treatment of many diseases.
THE NURISS DIFFERENCE
At Nuriss, we focus on understanding each patient's unique needs and goals. We perform thorough evaluations to create a personalised treatment plan. Our advanced application methods ensure deep penetration and maximum absorption of the exosome serum, utilising techniques like microneedling or direct injection alongside cryojet infusion to ensure adequate penetration of exosomes
For hair restoration, exosome therapy stimulates hair regrowth by enhancing follicular health, stimulating stem cell activity and promoting blood flow to the scalp. Our comprehensive approach includes follow-up appointments to monitor progress and adjust treatment as needed.
Our Nuriss labs service allows us to test for and address any nutritional deficiencies or hormone issues that may be contributing to hair loss or skin concerns.
